Burning sage is one of the oldest and purest methods of cleansing a person, group of people, or space and of getting rid of unwanted spirits. The smudging will purify and remove negativity and ill will from your environment.

To use a smudge stick, hold the tip over a burning candle for around 30 seconds then blow out any flame and fan the stick with a feather or smudge wave. Never leave burning smudge stick unattended. Do not extinguish with water.
